There won't be any alternative in this part of the guide either. This part of the guide is entirely dedicated to Dimension Invasion. To maximize your Exp gain per day, you should do both Dimension Invasion and Evo World daily until you hit 165. You can ditch Evo World by then.
Read the red text below if you are new to MapleStory, otherwise just skip it.

Beginners Guide, getting Started with Dimension Invasion.
Dimension Invasion in a nutshell.
Dimension Invasion is basically a party quest which you will have to clear it within a 50 minutes time limit. You can enter Dimension Invasion through the mirror and you will need to be in a party of any size. However I recommend you to just create a party of 1(yourself) and solo it. I am unsure if this is possible for all classes, but according to a few of my alliance member, they seem to be able to solo a run without any help with minimum funding.
If things go out of hand, just bring another player with you. 2 players should be more than enough to clear this quest effectively.
----------------------------------------------------------
Just like from Lv 100~140, the only practical way to Lv up till 165 is Evo World and Dimension Invasion. Even after Lv 165, Dimension Invasion will remain one of the best way to Lv up till Lv 190. You will be doing hundreds of Dimension Invasion and I think it would adequate for me to say that the most important part of this process is that YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SOLO AN ENTIRE RUN.
I am usually armed to the teeth, so I am unsure of the exact amount of funding you will need in order to solo Dimension Invasion, but stronger classes like Xenon tend to be able to solo without any funding at all. If you can't solo, then try getting 6% stats tempest equip and stack it up all the way until you can because constantly trying to rely on another player will only lead you to shit-play.
Things you will need to know about Dimension Invasion:
1. You should never let the meter on the screen reaches red. If you can't take out the monster in time, this will result in an immediate failure.
2. You can only enter Dimension Invasion 10 times a day.
3. The Lv of the monster is directly correspond to yours, unless, being manipulated.
4. Partying with someone manipulates the Lv of the monster.
5. Do not party anyone unless absolutely necessary.

Dimension Invasion Walkthrough
As monster spawn, the meter above will rise and your goal is to prevent the meter from reaching red. Monsters will spawn every few second interval, killing them reduces meter. If the meter is left in red for too long, this will result in an immediate failure and you will lose one of your entries.
Stage 1
Nothing special here, each spawn will fill up somewhere between 60~70% of the meter. Kill them all, it's fairly simple. There is 7 waves in total and they all spawn in the middle.
Stage 2
It's impossible to fail this one. Kill the wooden horse that spawns in the middle, should be a few seconds job.
Stage 3
This one can be tricky and might catch newbies off guard. There is 11~12 waves in total, and they spawn randomly on 3 portals. The portals are located on the top left platform, in middle and right of bottom lane.
They spawn every few seconds interval and try to keep yourself close to one of the portal all the time. After you killed somewhere between 8 or 9 waves of enemy, the mobs will swarm at all 3 portals and you will start with a red meter. You have a few seconds to deal with the situation, if you aren't strong enough to deal a deathblow to them, then launch a Lv 170 Hyper skill to finish them off. This should put you back into the safe zone again.
Stage 4
There will be flying mobs dropping projectiles at you, just save yourself the trouble and stay at the top left platform. They won't be able to hit you from there.
Once the flying mobs are all gone, drop down directly from the top left platform and make sure that you subdue the flying mobs immediately. You don't want them to be flying all over the map. After the RED patch, the mobs now spawn a lot faster than it used to be. I would suggest you jump down before stage 4 ends. You can tell when the indicator on top disappears.
Stage 5
Like Stage 2, kill the tower as fast as possible. Mobs will be spawning and you can't kill them until you destroy the tower. Buff yourself up to make sure that you can kill the tower before mobs flood the map. There is 6 waves in total.
Bonus Stage:
<<No Image>>
There are 3 Bonus Stage.
If you clear all 5 stages within 10 minutes, you get to fight Hilla's pet. In this case, just quit. It is a huge waste of time because the boss is ridiculously tough.
If you clear all 5 stages after 10 minutes but still within 20 minutes, you have a chance to fight Hilla and Magnus's soldier. This part can wreck quite some good exp, but I only got it once accidentally. I tried quite few times trying to get this stage again but to no avail. Either way, I don't recommend you to aim specifically for this stage because I don't do it, and that's why it's hard for me to sell it to you.
After 20 minutes... I don't even know what this bonus stage is about and I don't really wanna find out either.
Reward highlights
After you clear the all 5 stage, you will be given a box. The box gives random reward which include any of these:
Dimension Glove piece
Glove for Attack scroll 70%
Glove for Attack scroll 30%
And some random potion junk
The only few things you need to look out for is the Dimension Glove piece and the 2 scrolls. You need 4 piece of Dimension Glove piece to create one Dimension Glove and you can easily sell this for 10m or so. Similarly, the scrolls are consider to be quite valuable in the market, you can sell them for 20m(Elnido) per piece if you have a store permit, so do look out for them.
----------------------------------------------------------
Both Evo world and Dimension Invasion should take you about 3~5 hours a day and I guess that's probably enough for one day. Most sane man would have stopped after 3~5 hours, but if you absolutely wanted to grind more, I would recommend you to go Mysterious Path 3. The exp there sucks big time comparing to Dimension Invade and I am not sure why anyone would want to grind there.
In the end, it would be best if you just go create a new character and grind for the Link skill instead. It's waaaaaay more beneficial than wasting your time grinding on shitty places like Mysterious Path 3.
Anyways, this conclude the Part 4 of my training guide. If you are Lv 165, move on to Part 5. However, you should keep on doing Dimension Invade until you reach Lv 195 before consider dropping DI.
